Bill originally contacted Creative Cat for marketing consultation to tee the company up for its lofty plans of expansion. At the start of our partnership, Music Encounters’ music lessons studio had one location, 75 weekly lessons, and four part-time instructors. Music Encounters approached Creative Cat to determine the right next marketing steps to generate revenue to invest in full-time instructors and expand capacity with weekly musical lessons.
After completing a series of marketing scorecards, Creative Cat recommended defining Music Encounters’ positioning in the marketplace, re-vamping its digital image, and building a brand-driven website built to convert visitors into students.
Music Encounters’ website strategy aimed to communicate compelling brand-driven messaging to resonate with audiences, and provide ample information for visitors to find what they’re looking for easily. Aesthetically, Creative Cat pulled from the brand identity work completed by using the brand’s unique design elements and photography style to create a fun, creative, and inviting experience for visitors.
Music Encounters’ brand development work unearthed unique heartfelt positioning: Music Through Mentorship. After learning Bill’s purpose to change lives through musical lessons, Creative Cat recommended sharing the story of Music Encounters through a short, compelling multi-use brand video. The video, hosted on the home page of Music Encounters’ website, was also used for social media advertising as part of a brand awareness campaign, yielding impressive results.
