Hartley Print’s New Website Showcases Innovative Printing Solutions

THE ASK

Hartley, a printing company founded in 1963, was referred to Creative Cat in 2021 to build a website that would position the company as an innovative printing company with high-level capabilities. Stemming from its new positioning, Legendary Quality, Service, and Grit,the new company leader and granddaughter of the original founder wanted the site to attract new customers looking for out-of-the-box printing solutions. In addition, they expressed a vision for the site’s functioning: offer on-site servicing with quoting, large file uploading, and payment processing.

THE WORK

Working alongside Hartley’s marketing team, Creative Cat focused on the design and user-experience strategies. Through consultation, the brand’s aesthetic pointed in the direction of vibrancy, motion, and crisp photography. A visual representation of grit was created by incorporating subtle textures and strategic use of the brand’s bold Pantone shades of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black. Functionally speaking, the site’s customer portal was designed and developed so that those with the high-pressure job of procuring large print orders could easily and efficiently submit for quotes and make invoice payments.
